A brief History of Cherry Creek

Cherry Creek began in 1993 as a small one-station tattoo studio in western Minnesota. The first set of flash art created by Cherry Creek, a collection of Native American designs, debuted at the APT Baltimore Tattoo Convention in 1995. The response from this elite gathering of artists was quite overwhelming. Several more very successful flash sets followed over the next few years, and Cherry Creek became firmly established as the premier source of professional flash for the tattoo industry.

Over the course of the next decade, Cherry Creek pioneered the production and marketing methods that laid the groundwork for the amazing growth of tattoo flash art. By combining exceptional artwork, customer-oriented designs, quality production, modern marketing techniques and personal customer service, Cherry Creek literally revolutionized the entire flash industry. Today, many companies have attempted to copy Cherry Creek's successful formula, but there is only one "Cherry Creek" -- the original and still the best!

As the company expanded, Cherry Creek offered opportunities to a variety of popular and talented artists to become part of the team. With the help of legendary artists like Gail Somers, Marty Holcomb, Gary Davis and Shane Hart, and fresh new talent such as Gentleman Jim, Southern Fried and Sid, Cherry Creek has continued to lead the way. By consistently offering customers the very best product available, Cherry Creek has earned a reputation for fine tattoo art -- along with the respect and loyalty of professional artists and studios all around the world.

From humble beginings in the midst of Minnesota cornfields, to the current office, production and warehouse facilities of over 14,000 sq ft (yes, we're still in the midst of cornfields!), Cherry Creek continues to grow. In fact, many new artists (from Russia, Germany, South Africa and all across the US) are "in the works" and scheduled to join the Cherry Creek family in the coming year. Keep an eye out for them -- and their amazing art!
